Living Room Ash Tray
Dudley, MA February 2009

I know, I know, I suck at updating blogs. Reason: I feel I must present a finished, final edit of a photo. I've gotten over that, so you'll start getting them as I do. I'm pretty confident this one will make it to the thesis show. I like it, and it's gotten great feedback. These kinds of photos come after I've been sitting around in the living room for too long, and the tv has long become uninteresting.

woods

Woods
Dudley, MA Jan 09

Last semester I was recommended to look at Jitka Hanzlova's work. She does a series on trees that I fell in love with (too bad the book is 300 bucks :( It'll be a while until I've saved up money for that.). So I'm interested in doing a series through the seasons on my own woods.

Huggin'

Mom and Eric, Dec 2008
Dudley, MA

I always feel I should write more about my images, but I never know how much to say about them. This is my mom and her boyfriend, hugging. They've been together since I was 10/11ish, I'm now 21. So it's been awhile and they love each other a lot. I feel my edges aren't as resolved as they could be, so I'll reshoot this sometime.

Stanley II

Stanley
Dudley, MA October 2008

Alright, I know I haven't been posting much. Most of my time is spent working on stuff, I never wind up with that five minutes to make it a jpg and post. But this time I have! Enjoy.

Baby Stanley

Baby Stanley
Dudley, MA October 26th, 2008

I'd like you all to meet my nephew, now almost 9 months old. He never gets out of Worcester, so my mom, my sister, and I kidnapped him (with permission, of course), and brought him to the house. In this photo he was playing with leaves, and he happens to be very intrigued by the rake and was on his way to go check it out.

Also, please note that I tried VERY hard to avoid making it too blue, I have a tendency of doing that.

'bout time for a new post

Dudley's Abandoned Fort
Dudley, MA Summer 2008

School's back, so that means you'll be getting more images. I notice I keep making my jpgs bigger and bigger. I think it's necessary here, there's so many little bits and pieces, it hurts to have it too small. So click it to make it bigger!
